Events This Week

Sunday, March 30th: Fast Sunday - Since General Conference is on the first weekend in April, Fast Sunday is being moved backwards a week.

Monday, March 31st: Family Home Evening - Due to there being a 5th FHE in March, we are having a special split FHE. At 7:00pm, the sisters will be crafting shrinky dinks in the Relief Society room of our chapel (2285 S 200 W, Bountiful, northeast corner) and the brethren will be having a video game night at Parker Gold’s house (2088 Ridge Hill Dr, Bountiful). Parker has asked that people make sure to park on the street.

Thursday, April 3rd: Pickleball - (new regular activity) Our ward is restarting regular pickleball nights at 6:30pm on Thursdays (except for ward temple nights) at Washington Park (450 W 740 S, Bountiful).

Later Events

Saturday and Sunday, April 5th and 6th: General Conference - Instead of a normal Sunday meeting, join people around the world as we hear from church leaders. See all many options we have now to watch General Conference from churchofjesuschrist.org (and don’t show up to the empty church building)

Monday, April 7th: Multi-Stake FHE - We are invited to join with several YSA Stakes for a special FHE at The Rush Funplex in Syracuse (1806 S 2000 W, Syracuse). There will be Go Karts, Bowling, Laser Tag, Roller Skating, and more! Invite your friends.

Saturday and Sunday, April 12th and 13th: Stake Conference - Everyone will have several opportunities to gather together and hear from leaders and fellow members of our stake. The Saturday evening session will go from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful). The Sunday morning session will go from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Bountiful Regional Center (835 N 400 E, North Salt Lake). Elder Jörg Klebingat and Elder Kevin Brown of the Seventy will be in attendance.

Sunday, April 13th: Temple Preparation Classes - Our ward is in the middle of holding a set of temple prep classes. Whether you haven’t yet received your own endowment, or recently have and still have some questions, you are welcome to join! Due to stake conference, temple prep class for this week will be held at 12:30pm in the same classroom in our building. For more information, contact Emma Kirk or Brady Hendrickson.

Monday, April 14th: Stake Easter Devotional - A special stake FHE will be held the Monday before Easter. Bring a friend with you at 7:00pm to the Bountiful Regional Center (835 N 400 E, North Salt Lake) for an Easter Devotional. View the flyer here

Sunday, April 20th: Easter Sunday - This year, Easter Sunday will be on April 20th! Please set aside time to truly remember God’s Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, who made our resurrection and exaltation possible. “As Easter approaches, the First Presidency invites us to do more than simply celebrate this sacred event—we are called to live in its light and remember the #GreaterLove that made it possible.” He Is Risen! | A Special 2025 Easter Season Message from the First Presidency, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, churchofjesuschrist.org. Wednesday, April 23rd: Ward Temple Night - Because the Bountiful Temple will be closed during our normal week, our monthly ward temple night is moved for April. Join fellow ward members at the Bountiful Temple (640 S Bountiful Blvd, Bountiful) at 7:00pm. There will be dinner afterwards at 8:30pm at the Ensign’s home. Temple workers strongly encourage us to make appointments. You are expected to make your own appointment for the ordinance you would like to participate in.

Friday and Saturday, June 20th and 21st: Ward Summer Activity - Our ward will be holding an overnight camp out at East Canyon. There will be hiking, climbing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and more! More details will be forthcoming as the event draws closer, but get it in your calendars now!

Friday to Sunday, August 29th to 31st: YSA Conference - This fall there will be another Utah Area conference for all YSA. Registration opens April 9th, get your ticket before August 1st for only $25. After that tickets will increase to $50. Across the three days there will be a series of events at the Salt Palace Convention Center, a concert at America First Field, and a devotional at the Conference Center. In preparation for the conference, there will also be two series of temple days. The first series will be April 9th to 12th, although because the Bountiful Temple will be closed at that time our Stake will hold the first series from May 1st to 3rd. The second series will be August 26th to 28th. For more information, keep an eye on utahysaconference.org

Ongoing Ward Events

Sundays (ongoing): Temple Preparation Classes - Our ward is in the middle of holding a set of temple prep classes. Whether you haven’t yet received your own endowment, or recently have and still have some questions, you are welcome to join! The class is expected to have 6 sessions, weekly on Sundays at 12:00pm starting March 16th, excepting weeks of General Conference or Stake Conference. 3rd Thursday of the Month (ongoing): Ward Temple Night - Our ward holds regular monthly temple nights. Join fellow ward members at the Bountiful Temple (640 S Bountiful Blvd, Bountiful) at 7:00pm. A dinner is typically held beforehand at the Ensign’s house also, although the exact details vary. Temple workers strongly encourage us to make appointments. You are expected to make your own appointment for the ordinance you would like to participate in.

Thursdays (ongoing): Pickleball - You are welcome to join members of the ward for some casual pickleball every Thursday night at 6:30pm at Washington Park (450 W 740 S, Bountiful). Pickleball is canceled if it would conflict with ward temple night.

Ongoing Stake Events

Sundays (ongoing): Stake Choir Practice - If you are interested in being a part of the choir at the upcoming Stake Conference, join the practices at 7:00pm at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful) on Sundays.

Tuesdays (ongoing): Institute - Spring Semester classes are held Tuesdays at 6:30pm at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful), followed by dinner at 7:30pm. A new class “Recent Returned Missionaries” is added this semester, with 3 other classes: New Testament, Mission Preparation, and Jesus Christ and His Everlasting Gospel.

Tuesdays (ongoing): Stake Interviews for Temple Recommends and Ecclesiastical Endorsements - The Stake Presidency is available Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm for temple recommend renewal and ecclesiastical endorsement interviews. Come to the stake offices (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful, downstairs) during this time. No appointment necessary. If that time doesn't work for you, please contact Brother Neil Horne, 385-419-5590, to schedule another time.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Book of Mormon Study with the Missionaries - Join the ward and full time missionaries each week at 7:00pm at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful) for an uplifting evening of studying the word of God.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Addiction Recovery Program for Women - The Bountiful YSA Stake is hosting a weekly Addiction Recovery Program. The class for sisters is held at 7:30pm on Wednesday evenings in the Farmington Jr. High Seminary Building (150 S 200 W, Farmington). This class is facilitated by Naomi Okleberry with the help of some wonderful service missionaries. For more information, contact your Bishop or Naomi.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Addiction Recovery Program for Men - The Bountiful YSA Stake is hosting a weekly Addiction Recovery Program. The class for brethren is held every Wednesday at 7:30pm at the Centerville Jr. High Seminary Building (625 S Main Street, Centerville). The class is facilitated by Brother Kevin Young. If you have any questions, feel free to call Brother Young at 801-721-42-24.
