Events This Week

Sunday, September 14th (21st, and 28th): Stake choir practice for the upcoming Stake Conference in October. Practices will be at 7:00 p.m. at the central hub. We are looking to have AT LEAST five guys and five girls from every ward.

Monday, September 15th: Volley outside the church at 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, September 21st: Devotional with Elder and Sister Gong at Ogden Tabernacle at 6:00 pm

Sunday, September 21st: Stake Missionary Devotional and Training at 7:00pm at the Central Hub. Those invited to attend are the ward mission leaders, ward missionaries, bishoprics, elders quorum presidencies, and relief society presidencies. Please make sure that your ward missionaries are invited. Refreshments will be provided. Please reach out to Brother Jacob Grossenbach, a Stake High Councilor, if you have any questions. Sundays (ongoing): Ward Choir Practice - 12:30pm before church in room #2

Tuesdays (ongoing): Institute - Institute classes are held Tuesdays at 6:30pm at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful), followed by dinner at 7:30pm. For summer semester, there are 4 classes: Teachings of the Living Prophets, Parables of Jesus, Recent Returned Missionaries, and Mission Preparation.

Tuesdays (ongoing): Stake Interviews for Temple Recommends and Ecclesiastical Endorsements - The Stake Presidency is available Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm for temple recommend renewal and ecclesiastical endorsement interviews. Come to the stake offices (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful, downstairs) during this time. No appointment necessary. If that time doesn't work for you, please contact Brother Neil Horne, 385-419-5590, to schedule another time.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Book of Mormon Study with the Missionaries - Join the ward and full time missionaries each week at 7:30pm at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful) for an uplifting evening of studying the word of God.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Addiction Recovery Program for Women - The Bountiful YSA Stake is hosting a weekly Addiction Recovery Program. The class for sisters is held at 7:30pm on Wednesday evenings in the Farmington Jr. High Seminary Building (150 S 200 W, Farmington). This class is facilitated by Naomi Okleberry with the help of some wonderful service missionaries. For more information, contact your Bishop or Naomi.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Addiction Recovery Program for Men - The Bountiful YSA Stake is hosting a weekly Addiction Recovery Program. The class for brethren is held every Wednesday at 7:30pm at the Centerville Jr. High Seminary Building (625 S Main Street, Centerville). The class is facilitated by Brother Kevin Young. If you have any questions, feel free to call Brother Young at 801-721-42-24.

Thursdays (ongoing): Pickleball - You are welcome to join members of the ward for some casual pickleball every Thursday night at 6:30pm at Washington Park (450 W 740 S, Bountiful). Pickleball is canceled if it would conflict with ward temple night.

Ongoing Monthly Events

3rd Thursday of the Month (ongoing): Ward Temple Night - Our ward holds regular monthly temple nights. Join fellow ward members at the Bountiful Temple (640 S Bountiful Blvd, Bountiful) at 7:00pm. A dinner is typically held beforehand at the Ensign’s house also, although the exact details vary. Temple workers strongly encourage us to make appointments. You are expected to make your own appointment for the ordinance you would like to participate in.
