Monday, Jan 20th: Family Home Evening - We will be ice skating! Meet at our chapel (2285 S 200 W, Bountiful) at 7:00pm so we can all head to the South Davis Rec Center (550 N 200 W, Bountiful) at the same time.

Sunday, Jan 26th: Ward Conference - Time for our annual Ward Conference, still at our normal building (2285 S 200 W, Bountiful) and time (1:00pm). In preparation, we have been asked to study the following talks:

• The Everlasting Covenant, President Russel M. Nelson, October 2022 Liahona

• Spiritual Treasures, President Russel M. Nelson, October 2019 General Conference

• The Lord Jesus Christ Will Come Again, President Russel M. Nelson, October 2024 General Conference

Saturday, Feb 1st and 8th: Stake Church Basketball for Brethren - We will be playing a YSA Stake Basketball Tournament! The purpose of this activity is have some fun, get some exercise, and get to know others within the stake! Come play on February 1st and 8th at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful). Games will start at 9:00am on both Saturdays. This will be a 3 on 3 World-Cup style tournament featuring group stages followed by a single-elimination playoff. Games will be pick-up style, played to 25 points on a full court. This activity is all about having fun and getting to know each other. Be a good sport and show good sportsmanship throughout the activity. Let’s make this enjoyable for everyone! Report your team by Friday, January 24th by emailing Jared Vawdrey (jvawd.church@gmail.com) with each of your team members' names, wards, and email addresses.

Sunday, Feb 2nd: Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults with Elder & Sister Uchtdorf - Young adults are invited to grow closer to Jesus Christ by viewing the Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults broadcast, which will be available on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at 6:00p.m. Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and his wife, Sister Harriet Uchtdorf, will share messages specifically for young adults ages 18 to 35. Young adults may wish to prepare for the broadcast by reviewing Elder Uchtdorf’s recent messages and ministry on his social media channels. View the devotional live and on-demand for two weeks at broadcasts.churchofjesuschrist.org. Study it later in Gospel Library.

Saturday, March 1st: Utah Coalition Against Pornography’s annual Hope, Help, and Healing Conference - The Utah Area Presidency wants us all to be aware of this upcoming conference. This conference will be from 9:00am to 1:30pm at the Karen Gail Miller Conference Center on the SLCC Miller Campus (9750 S 300 W, Sandy). The purpose of the conference is to provide individuals, parents, couples, grandparents, and leaders of youth with resources, education, protection, and hope as they face the challenges of dealing with increasing challenge and threat of pornography and new evolving technology. Saturday, March 15th: FeedUtah Food Drive - The Utah Food Bank’s annual campaign is approaching, and we’ve been invited by the Utah Area Presidency to help out by volunteering to be at drop-off sites that morning. Learn more and sign up at justserve.org by Thursday, March 13.

Ongoing Stake Events

Tuesdays (ongoing): Institute - Spring Semester classes are held Tuesdays at 6:30pm at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful), followed by dinner at 7:30pm. A new class “Recent Returned Missionaries” is added this semester.

Tuesdays (ongoing): Stake Interviews for Temple Recommends and Ecclesiastical Endorsements - The Stake Presidency is available Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm for temple recommend renewal and ecclesiastical endorsement interviews. Come to the stake offices (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful, downstairs) during this time. No appointment necessary. If that time doesn't work for you, please contact Brother Neil Horne, 385-419-5590, to schedule another time.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Addiction Recovery Program for Women - We are excited to announce that we have started an Addiction Recovery Program (ARP) class for the sisters of our stake. The class is being held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday evenings in the Farmington Jr. High Seminary Building (150 S 200 W, Farmington). This class is facilitated by Jody Young with the help of some wonderful service missionaries. There is a Zoom option for this class as well. Wednesdays (ongoing): Addiction Recovery Program for Men - The Bountiful YSA Stake is hosting a weekly Addiction Recovery Program. This class is specifically designed for YSA brethren and is held every Wednesday at 7:30pm at the Centerville Jr. High Seminary Building (625 S Main Street, Centerville).
